Education: MBA, Wright State University; BS in Finance, Wright State University; Franklin High School

Current job: Finance, General Mills Inc

Why are you running for an elected position? Initially, I ran for office to fulfill my desire to serve my community and work to make it a better place. I am running for re-election to continue the success of our board of directors by maximizing services while using minimum taxes.

Why should voters elect you? Over the past four years, we have strived to eliminate overspending and improve services where possible. The township worked on paper; now everything from departmental work orders to board meeting records is digital. Residents continue to receive excellent service from the township, and we have not had to raise taxes.

If you are elected, what will be your three priorities? Ongoing fiscal responsibility; prevention of annexation of unincorporated areas: strategic planning for the canton.

What specific plans do you have to address these top priorities? I will continue to be a good steward of your taxes and watch every penny spent. We have a joint economic development district planned in Hunter that will promote growth and prevent annexation. We have also developed long-term plans to improve several township properties, such as the Administration Building Campus and Hunter Park. We continue to seek grants and budgetary capital to improve these assets for the future.

Nothing else? Do not hesitate to contact me for any other question and I ask for your vote on November 2nd!

Why are you running for an elected position? I am seeking re-election as the Franklin Township Trustee so that I can continue my roles and responsibilities as a trustworthy and hardworking community servant. I will continue to give back to Franklin Township and do the work necessary to positively support and shape this amazing community.

Why should voters elect you? For over 30 years, I worked, attended school, and lived in Franklin Township. I really love this community, and it is my home. I invest myself as an active member of township committees, participating in community events and working with government entities and businesses for the greater good of the township. My mission is always to be an excellent financial steward of every taxpayer dollar. I will continue to seek grants and ensure that Franklin Township is a financially supportive place to work and live as long as I am a director. I am very proud to be a true fiscal conservative. I will continue to work diligently with the board of directors on the township’s economic development, infrastructure needs and properties. The administration of the township, the roads, the cemetery, the parks and the fire department are and will be my priority.

If you are elected, what will be your three priorities? My three main priorities are roads, economic development and improvement of township properties (parks, cemetery and buildings). Franklin Township has current and future planning in the works. I will continue to be a champion in addressing these top priorities and striving for the best possible outcome.

What specific plans do you have to address these top priorities? My first priority is the township roads. We are a community with over 50 miles of aging roads (including bridges) in rural areas, neighborhoods and Woodhill Cemetery. Safe and structurally sound roads and bridges are essential for the whole township. My second priority is the township’s economic development. During my tenure as a board member, we continue to lay the groundwork by purchasing property on Sharts Road and working with the City of Middletown for a Joint Economic Development District. The Sharts Road property is adjacent to I-75 and will be a prime location for future businesses. JEDD is a community partnership in creating and preserving jobs, and to improve the economic well-being of the township. My final priority is to improve the properties in our township, which includes the parks, cemetery and buildings. Like our roads, we have aging facilities and other infrastructure needs. These areas include Franklin Township Park (Hunter), O’Neal Park, Woodhill Cemetery, Fire Hall 19, Fire Hall 20, Road Service Building, and Administration Building. My plan for all of these priorities is to seek grants, work with government or commercial entities, and other fiscally responsible means to deal with township properties, roads, and improve economic development.

Nothing else? I grew up in Franklin Township (Hunter), graduated from Franklin High School, and currently reside in Carlisle. I will always act in the best interests of the residents of Franklin Township. I am loyal and will do anything to make Franklin Township a great place to live, work and enjoy. I would appreciate your vote on November 2, 2021 to continue this incredible opportunity.
