Updated accounting and auditing technology: Xero, Square and more

Weave, an all-in-one customer communication platform for small businesses, has integrated with QuickBooks Online (QBO). Announced on September 14, the integration will give QBO users access to Weave’s data sync, text preferences, email marketing and more.
September 21, the cloud accounting software company Xero announced that it has expanded its global partnership with Square. Square chose Amaka, one of Xero’s application partners, to offer its accounting integration across all relevant global markets, with features such as the ability to reconcile Square sales in Xero, capture point-of-sale transactions and accept Square payments on Xero invoices.
On September 28, the financial services customer data platform Sensitivity announced the launch of its Invoice Extraction API. The new solution will allow businesses to download paper and digital invoices seamlessly and quickly through a fully automated process.
