Job: Valve Service Center Manager (Nigerian / Expatriate) at Protege Professionals

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for the safe and efficient daily operation of the valve assembly facility.
Responsible for customer service, reliability and dependability by providing all areas with technical support as they may require.
Manage and lead the successful growth of the service operation with full profit and loss accountability.
Receive and review customer feedback and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
Set goals for the workshop with strategic business planning, to lead, manage local workshop teams and offshore teams to achieve those goals.
Ensure quality by completing all final inspections and repair reports.
Provide/delegate training to technical staff to ensure a competent and efficient workforce and assist in problem solving.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for the execution of work operations.
Make sure the valve assembly facility is fully operational and all equipment is working perfectly.
Perform periodic inspections and routine quality checks to ensure the proper functioning of work equipment and systems and the safety of all company assets.
Ensure full compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations, quality accreditation, operational procedures and labor laws.
Assist with quoting, project management, purchasing materials and maintaining equipment. and routine quality checks.


A bachelor’s degree in engineering and relevant engineering certification is required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in valve assembly services, control valve repair, relief valve repair, hydraulic actuator and positioner repair.
Excellent managerial skills with an interpersonal and collaborative style.
Good planning and analytical skills.
Results oriented with strong leadership, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with people at different levels, from shop floor to senior management.
