Andrew Nickerson Named CEO of CarrierX, Strengthening Company’s Executive Leadership and Strategic Planning Capability
LONG BEACH, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–After more than 20 years in telecommunications, founder David Erickson has left CarrierX and established an organization that will support new management.

His appointment as CEO is effective March 15, 2022. Mr. Nickerson will be based at the company’s headquarters in Long Beach and will report to the CarrierX Board of Directors.

Additionally, Mr. Nickerson remains CEO of WideVoice while he evaluates strategic alternatives. Established in 2010, Wide Voice has grown into a leading independent player in voice connectivity with CLEC state certifications throughout the United States. Wide Voice primarily provides tandem interconnection services (i.e., local tandem switching and access home tandem switching) to CLECs and IPES providers over its network with Tier 1 facilities.
